Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Reegards collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit reegards.com or place an order, and which choices and rights you have. We collect only what we need to run our store and serve you well.

1. Who we are

The store reegards.com is operated by Booy & beyond, Rendementsweg 20-a, 3641 SL Mijdrecht, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 80953220 ("we", "us", "our"). 2. Information we collect

Identity and contact details: name, and company name if provided; email address, phone number, billing and shipping address.
Order information: items ordered, order history, order numbers, returns and discount codes used.
Payment information: the payment method you chose, transaction ID and payment status. We do not store card or bank account details; they are processed only by the relevant payment provider.
Communications: the content of your messages to customer service, including questions, complaints and return requests.
Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed and time of visit.
Marketing preferences: your newsletter subscription status and cookie preferences.

We collect this information directly from you, automatically when you use our website (see section 6), and from our service providers, for example payment and shipping updates.

3. How we use your information

To process and deliver your orders, handle payments, returns, exchanges and refunds.
To communicate with you about your order and answer your questions.
To operate, secure and improve our website, and to prevent fraud and misuse.
To send you our newsletter if you have subscribed.
To comply with legal obligations, for example tax and accounting requirements.

4. How we share your information

We share personal information with service providers who help us run the store and with advertising partners as described below, to the extent needed for those purposes:

Shopify: our store runs on the Shopify platform, which hosts our website and stores data on our behalf.
Payment providers: payments are processed by Shopify Payments (cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay).
Fulfillment and shipping: our external fulfillment partner and the carrier receive your name, delivery address and, where needed for delivery, your contact details.
Order tracking: our Track Your Order page is provided by CWILL Tech Inc. (ParcelPanel / ParcelWILL). To show the status of a delivery, it processes your order number and email address or phone number, or the tracking number, together with shipping, carrier and delivery status data and technical connection data.
Analytics: Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) helps us understand how visitors use our store, see section 6.
Size guidance: Kiwi Sizing (StayTuned Digital, Inc., USA) provides our size charts, see section 6.
Legal reasons: we may disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

5. Newsletter

We send our newsletter only if you have subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time, free of charge, using the link in every email or by writing to info@reegards.com.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to run our store, to understand how it is used and to provide its features.

Strictly necessary cookies make the store work, for example your cart, login session and settings.
Analytics cookies measure traffic and interactions, for example through Shopify analytics or Microsoft Clarity. The identifiers used can be pseudonymous rather than anonymous.
Marketing cookies and tags help us show and measure advertising, including through Google Ads.

Google Ads: We use Google advertising tags to measure advertising interactions and conversions. These technologies can process page and device information, IP addresses, cookie or device identifiers, and advertising interactions. Depending on the feature and privacy settings, this information may also be used for advertising personalization. Sharing information for targeted advertising may be considered a sale or sharing under some US state privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged. Microsoft Clarity processes information about the pages you visit, your device and browser, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling. It allows heat maps and, depending on consent and configuration, session replays. Microsoft also describes limited measurement without cookies. More information: Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Kiwi Sizing is loaded to provide size guidance. When it loads, technical data such as IP address, browser, device, page and time of access are processed, and technical cookies and a Kiwi identifier are used. Viewing a size chart does not require you to enter your height, weight or other body measurements.

You can manage cookies in your browser settings and, where offered, through the privacy settings on our website. Deleting cookies does not undo processing that has already taken place.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

know what personal information we hold about you and access a copy of it;
correct inaccurate personal information;
delete your personal information;
receive your personal information in a portable format;
opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising, as those terms are defined in US state privacy laws;
appeal a decision we make about your request.

Residents of California and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws can exercise these rights by emailing info@reegards.com. We will verify your request using information you have provided to us, and you may use an authorized agent. We respond within the time required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you also have the rights granted by the applicable data protection laws, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. How long we keep your information

Order and invoice data: for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
Customer data without an active order: deleted after 3 years of inactivity.
Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
Customer service communications: up to 3 years after your last contact.

9. Security

Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption, which you can recognize by "https://" in your browser's address bar. Sensitive information, in particular payment information, is transmitted only in encrypted form to the relevant providers.

10. International data transfers

We are based in the Netherlands, and some of our service providers process data in the United States, the European Union and other countries. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 11. Children

Our store is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when our services or legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
